The starting point is not too far from Albertville, as you can see on the road map further down. This is a pretty short section so no need to bring snacks. Getting some good exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. This section of Cotaco Creek is 3.8 miles long and has been rated as a class III-IV section by American Whitewater. There are no other stretches to paddle along     Cotaco Creek than the Matt Morrow Road to Ruth Road stretch. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in this state tend to be more challenging than the national average, so if you're not from around here don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.
