The Rice Mill Road to Short Creek stretch of Drum Creek is 0.85 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III section. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. The beautiful     scenery of Alabama and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. This is an extremely short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots.
