The Loop Road to Beason Cove Road stretch of Gulf Creek in Alabama is 2.2 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class V+ section. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but if     you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. Gulf Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Loop Road to Beason Cove Road stretch is the only one. This is a short paddling stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times.
