If you're coming from Albertville it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. This stretch of Honeycomb Creek in Alabama is 2.8 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. The wonderful Marshall County scenery and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river
if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Alabama is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in
this state are not easy. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. The CR 593 to CR 5 stretch is the only paddling stretch along Honeycomb Creek.

the most rain, and the driest month is October. Throughout the warmest time of the year here at Honeycomb Creek, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 80's with night lows in the 60's. Daytime highs through the wintertime are in the 40's with temperatures at Honeycomb Creek
dipping down into the 20's throughout winter nights. Do schedule some time to go to Troup Point in close proximity to Honeycomb Creek if you have a chance; nearby Slater Hollow is a brilliant location to go.
