  The CR 593 to CR 5 section of Honeycomb Creek in Alabama is 2.8 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class IV-V section. The put-in is not too far from Albertville, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Alabama is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are not easy. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because
    these hotels fill up quick. There are no other sections to paddle along Honeycomb Creek than the CR 593 to CR 5 section. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The natural beauty of Alabama and the water flowing gracefully down Honeycomb Creek are reasons
enough to come here and paddle. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good places for that around here. A good workout and spending some quality time in nature are sure to keep you coming back for more.

Briefly about the general area:
At this river you will always have a good time. A tour to Piney Branch Falls will fill your soul with wonderful feelings, and a fine site to check out close by is Slater Hollow.

Creek; a visit to Troup Point is always a great idea. Honeycomb Creek sees pretty high levels of rain; through the month of March you get the most rain around here, and October is when it's the driest. For the duration of the summer at Honeycomb Creek highs are ordinarily in the 80's, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the winter are usually in the 40's while Honeycomb Creek night low temperatures throughout the wintertime are in the 20's.
