The wonderful Marshall County scenery and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good places. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river     if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Alabama is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that many runs in this state are not easy.
