The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often tougher than in other states, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of places for that. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive
a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is the only paddling stretch along Honeycomb Creek. The scenic beauty of Alabama and the cool fresh water have people coming here. For all you camping people there
are campgrounds nearby. This is a somewhat short section so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come.
