This stretch of Little River in Alabama is 2.54 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III-IV+ section of whitewater. The scenic beauty of Dekalb County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water make the trip here worthwhile. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. more info on that. There are plenty of other sections in this river system that can be paddled as well. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Alabama tend to be more challenging than the national average, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very forgiving. Some
people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling rivers. This is a somewhat short section so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors will have you coming back for more. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.

gets much precipitation; most of the rain falls throughout March, and October meanwhile is the driest month. All through the summer at Little River temperatures are usually in the 80's; the night is a bit cooler of course, usually in the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are regularly in the 40's, and night lows throughout the wintertime for Little River tend to be in the 20's.
