The beautiful scenery of Cullman County and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. If you're coming from Cullman it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, as you can see on the road map further down. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The average Alabama whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master than those in other states, so if you're visiting     here do keep in mind that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. This is the only paddling stretch along Rice Creek.
