Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Alabama is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have a lot of people coming here.
