This stretch of Sougahatchee Creek in Alabama is 3 miles long and it is classified as a class I-II(IV) section by American Whitewater. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Alabama are harder than the national norm, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a large number of rivers in this state are not easy. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. A bit of exercise and a     chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with not too many other rivers for that. This is the only paddling stretch along Sougahatchee Creek.
