| people there are campgrounds nearby. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, suitable for an afternoon trip. The natural beauty of Dekalb/Jackson County and the playfulness of the water beats anything. South Sauty Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Intersection of County Roads 41 and 56 to Bucks Pocket stretch is the only one.
