  The natural beauty of Gullman County and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The put-in is not too far from Cullman, as you can see on the road map further down. This section of Two Mile Creek is 2.5 miles long and has been rated as a class II-III section by American Whitewater. There are many good hotels to choose from, and if you make reservations
    in advance you're all set. This section is quite short so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. The CR 798
to CR 781 stretch is the only paddling stretch along Two Mile Creek.

Briefly about the general area:
Two Mile Creek frequently gets a great deal of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is March while October is generally the driest month. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Two Mile Creek while nighttime lows are ordinarily in the 60's. Highs through the winter are generally in the 40's; night lows at Two Mile Creek during the winter typically drop into the 20's.
