The CR49 to CR47 stretch of Wolf Creek is 1.5 miles long and is a class II-IV(V) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have people coming from far and near. The beautiful scenery of Cherokee County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to     one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This is a bit of a short stretch so you'd better be prepared to walk your kayak back to put-in a few times. There's camping available near Wolf Creek.
