This stretch of Alsek River in Yukon Territory Borough is 185 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III+(V+) section of whitewater. The wonderful Alaska scenery and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This is the only paddling stretch along Alsek River. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often more difficult than elsewhere, so don't forget that a large
