The Browns Creek Canyon stretch of Browns Creek in Alaska is 1.5 miles long and it is classified as a class III section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Alaska and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while are great attractions for lots of people. Not too many hotels nearby,     you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The Chugach Mountains scenery is wonderful. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. This is a somewhat short section so you'll have to walk back to the start over and over. Browns Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Browns Creek Canyon stretch is the only one. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby.
