The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Alaska are often more challenging than in other states, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. The beautiful scenery of Alaska and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Upper river gravel bar to Yukon River to Circle section is the only     paddling section along Charley River. A stretch of this length does require some preparations, so make sure you pack enough food along with your camping gear. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby.
