  The Twin Lakes to Mulchatna River section of Chilikadrotna River in Kenai Peninsula / Lake and Peninsula Borough is 60 miles long and it is classified as a class I-III section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Alaska and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water will make you feel great. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Alaska are harder than the national norm, so better not forget that rivers here are not as easy as elsewhere. The campgrounds here at Chilikadrotna River are pretty good. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just
    hanging out with mother nature have a lot of people coming here. A section like this is is of course not run in a single day, perfect for a real wilderness adventure. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you
don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good spots for that around here. Chilikadrotna River doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Twin Lakes to Mulchatna River section is the only one.
