The wonderful Alaska scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Delta River have people coming here. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Alaska is often more difficult than elsewhere, so you'd better keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. and pack your camp stove. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you won't find many other paddling spots. Great exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. The wild scenery of the Alaska Range is great. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.
