This section of Eagle River in Anchorage Borough is 1.5 miles long and it is classified as a class II(III) section by American Whitewater. The nature scenery of Alaska and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. A bit of exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great attractions for lots of people.
