Briefly about the general area: Gold Creek sees pretty high levels of precipitation; October is the month that gets the most rain; April is the month with the least moisture. Summer brings highs in the 60's to Gold Creek. During the moonlight hours it's usually in the 40's. For the duration of the winter this   place gets highs in the 20's, and nighttime lows at Gold Creek throughout the wintertime typically dip into the 20's. This river is a great place to visit. A good spot to go to near Gold Creek is Gold Creek Valley, and while you're here you can take a hike along the Mount Roberts Trail. Ebner Falls is a tremendous local attraction; if you want to hit the beach, Ready Bullion Beach is around here. You'll meet a lot of folks from Juneau here, and if the weather is splendid, you can go for a hike along the Moller Ski Trail.
