This stretch of Hicks Creek in Matanuska-Susitna Borough is 11 miles long and it is classified as a class V+ section by American Whitewater. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you won't find a large number of other places.
