Getting some good exercise and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. This stretch is mid length, it's perfect for a one day trip. And of course, there are campgrounds     nearby. The Mother Lode Cookhouse and Saloon to Shrock Road Bridge stretch is one of a few paddling stretches in this river system. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a large number of paddling spots.
