The scenic beauty of Alaska and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. There are no other sections to paddle along Nadina River than the Nadina Glacier to Copper River section. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Alaska are often tougher than in other states, so if you're
not from around here don't forget that the rivers in this state are less manageable. You can enjoy this stretch more if you take your time, so pack your sleeping bag. The Nadina Glacier to Copper River section of Nadina River in Alaska is 18 miles long and it is classified as a
class V+ section by American Whitewater. Great exercise and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here.
Briefly about the general area: For the duration of the summer, highs mostly are in the 60's at Nadina River, and during summer nights temperatures are in the 40's. Daytime highs all through the winter are in the 0's with temperatures at Nadina River dipping down into the-20's through winter nights.
