The Nellie Juan Lake to Kings Bay stretch of Nellie Juan River in Kenai Peninsula Borough is 20 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class V section of whitewater. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. This is the
only paddling section along Nellie Juan River. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are not so many other good spots for that around here. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive
a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag.
