If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that many of the sections here are not safe for beginners. There are plenty of hotels here if you want to spend a night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is not the only paddling stretch in this river system, there are others too. There are campgrounds quite near the     river where you can camp. You can enjoy this section more if you take your time, so why not pack your camp stove too. The wild scenery of the Alaska Range is great.
