The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Alaska are often more challenging than in other states, so don't forget that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. When you're paddling down a Alaska Range river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors will make you glad you came. Some people prefer whitewater     rafting and some kayaking, either way this area has a pretty small number of paddling places. No need to look hard for hotels, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Riley Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the Tripple Lakes Trail to Nenana River section is the only one. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip.
