You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Whitewater paddling here in the Chugach Mountains is a great experience. The wonderful Valdez-Cordova Census Area Borough scenery and the     cool fresh water make the trip here worthwhile. This section is long enough to enjoy a good non stop paddle, you can easily run it on an afternoon. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. Briefly about the general area: Summertime brings highs in the 60's to Tsina River. All through the dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 40's.   The cold days of the wintertime come with highs in the 0's, and winter nights come with lows in the-20's to Tsina River. At Tsina River you don’t see much rainfall; most of the rain falls during July, and April is the month with the least moisture.
