The average whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit harder to master in this state than those in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that a lot of the rivers here are not suitable for beginners. The nature scenery of Arizona and the cool fresh water will make you feel great. When you're paddling down a Mogollon Rim Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your sleeping bag. There are campgrounds quite near the river
where you can camp. The Diamond Rock to Wildcat Point section is the only paddling section along Black River - East Fork. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature have people coming from far and near. Since you're on this site you are probably
into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are not so many other good rivers for that around here. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car.

are in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Black River - East Fork are in the 10's. Black River - East Fork gets very little rainfall; most of the rain falls throughout August, and May meanwhile is the driest month.
