The beautiful scenery of Greenlee County and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while are sure to keep you coming back for more. This stretch is long enough for an overnight trip if you take your time, so why not pack your camp stove too. If you've been out of state whitewater rafting and kayaking you might find the rivers here more demanding, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are not for beginners. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds
nearby. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There are no other stretches to paddle along Eagle Creek than the Along Forest Service Road 217 stretch.
