near the river where you can camp. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while have a lot of people coming here. No matter if you're whitewater
rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. This is a pretty decent length section, it's good length for a morning trip.
Briefly about the general area: Summer brings highs in the 100's to Verde River. For the period of the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 60's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 50's; night lows through the winter for Verde River tend to be in the 20's. other hand is the driest. If you come to this river you will have a good time for sure. Gospel Hollow is a splendid spot to explore close to Verde River.
