of many paddling sections in this river system. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's good length for a morning trip. The campgrounds here at Verde River are pretty good.

Not much precipitation falls here at Verde River; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and the driest month is May. Wet Prong Spring is an inspiring site to have a look at while you're here,
and Gospel Hollow is another great location to pop by close by. During the summertime, highs usually are in the 100's at Verde River. Summer overnight lows sink down to the 60's. Highs throughout the wintertime are commonly in the 50's, and nighttime lows at Verde River throughout
the wintertime usually drop into the 20's. The beauty of mother nature reveals herself at White Flash Rapid; Verde River is right by the Cold Water Trail.
