Briefly about the general area: Verde River is a location that is reasonably dry usually; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month is June. Through the months of summer highs here at Verde River reach the 80's while nighttime lows are usually in the 60's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 40's, and winter nights come with lows in the 30's to Verde River.
