The Ed Banks Road to Weyerhauser road section of Baker Creek in Arkansas is 3 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class III-IV section. When you're paddling down a Ouachita Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The campgrounds here at Baker Creek are pretty good. Not too many hotels nearby, you'll have to drive a bit to get to one, but do book a room before you come because it is a very     popular destination. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this is an area with plenty of spots for that. This is a short paddling stretch so better bring some good walking shoes.
