The nature scenery of Arkansas and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream attract people from near and far. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Russellville, as you can see on the road map further down. This is a pretty decent length section, you can easily run it on an afternoon. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Arkansas is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're not from around here don't forget that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick.
