This stream is really small and can only be paddled after locally heavy rain. Most of the rapids are in the first half mile and a few more when you join up with the main fork of Blakely creek. De Roche creek nearby is a better run but this would make a good chaser or a good intro to creek paddleing. Says Greg Parker

scenery of Hot Spring County and the water flowing gracefully down Blakely Creek - North Fork beats anything. The put-in location is a short drive from Hot Springs, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The nearby hotels are a bit away from
the river, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling places. This is a bit of a short stretch so no need to bring snacks. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. This stretch of Blakely Creek - North Fork is 2.9 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class II section. When you're paddling down a Ouachita Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. This is
the only paddling stretch along Blakely Creek - North Fork. A good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors are great reasons to come.
