The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers here are less demanding. The wonderful Arkansas scenery and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. This is the only paddling section along Blaylock Creek. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if     you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. A bit of exercise and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This stretch has has enough mileage, it's perfect for a one day trip. When you're paddling down a Ouachita Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too.
