The Along Highway 369 to Little Missouri below Highway 84 stretch of Blocker Creek in Arkansas is 9 miles long and it is classified as a class III+ section by American Whitewater. The beautiful Ouachita Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Getting some good exercise and just being out on the river for a while are great reasons to come. No matter     if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling spots. This stretch is mid length, suitable for an afternoon trip. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. The wonderful Arkansas scenery and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water are in themselves reasons enough to come here to paddle. There are no other sections to paddle along Blocker Creek than the Along Highway 369 to Little Missouri below Highway 84 section. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Briefly about the general area: Blocker Creek is a rather wet place mostly with a good deal of precipitation; the wettest month of the year is regularly May, that's the one that rains the most while January is   the month with the least amount of precipitation. Summer brings highs in the 90's to Blocker Creek. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 60's. All through the wintertime highs are ordinarily in the 50's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Blocker Creek temperatures dip to the 20's.
