This stretch of Bobtail Creek in Searcy County is 2.75 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class III-IV+ section of whitewater. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Harrison, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page
so you won’t get lost. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. Bobtail Creek doesn't have
a lot of paddling sections, the FS 1219A to Richland Creek section is the only one. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of places for that. The Boston Mountains scenery is wonderful. Getting your paddling muscles activated and spending some quality time in nature will make you glad you came. This section is quite short so it's not like you're gonna spend hours on the river in one stretch.
