The Boston Mountains scenery is wonderful. If you hurry you can run this stretch in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so why not pack your sleeping
bag too. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking there are lots of good spots for that around here. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside this state you might find the rivers here a bit more forgiving, so if you're not from around here don't forget that rivers
here are not as hard as elsewhere. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Boen Gulf Branch doesn't have a lot of paddling stretches, the Headwaters to Buffalo River stretch is the only one.
