If you're coming from Harrison it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, as you can see on the road map further down. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Arkansas is often easier than elsewhere, so keep in mind that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. A bit of exercise and spending some quality time in nature are great reasons to come. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.     The Boston Mountains scenery is wonderful. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so pack your camping stuff.
