If you're coming from Mountain Home it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Arkansas are easier than the national norm, so better not forget
that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. Getting some good exercise and just hanging out with mother nature will have you coming back for more. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area
has a large number of paddling rivers. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set.
