The starting location is a reasonable drive from Mountain Home, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. This section has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camp stove. The Rush Landing to Buffalo City stretch is one of many paddling stretches in this river system. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good rivers. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the
river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby. Getting a good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Arkansas is often
