If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. This river system is full     of great paddling sections, the Rush Landing to Buffalo City section is just one of them. The Rush Landing to Buffalo City section of Buffalo River in Arkansas is 24.4 miles long and is a class I(II) section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way this is an area with plenty of places for that. You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. The wild scenery of the Boston Mountains is great. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. Briefly about the general area: During the summertime, highs ordinarily   are in the 90's at Buffalo River, and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. Highs during the wintertime are generally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Buffalo River are in the 20's.
