  The scenic beauty of Faulkner County and the beautiful way the water current moves down the stream are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The average Arkansas whitewater rafting or kayaking river tends to be a bit easier to master than those in other states, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus. The put-in location is a short drive from Searcy, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. No matter if you're whitewater rafting or kayaking
    around here you'll find a large number of good places. The Rose Bud to Highway 36 section is one of many paddling sections in this river system. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but you'd better reserve in advance
because these hotels fill up quick. This stretch of Cadron Creek - East Fork in Arkansas is 5.5 miles long and is rated by American Whitewater as a class I-II section. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. Great exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. On this section you do get some distance, you can easily run it on an afternoon.
