The starting point is not too far from Searcy, there's a road map further down the page with more info on that. If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Arkansas you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are sure to keep you coming back for more. This is a pretty decent length section, good for a one day paddling trip. The natural beauty of Faulkner County and the playfulness of the water have people
coming here. There are so many stretches to paddle in this river system, the Rose Bud to Highway 36 stretch is just one of many. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is
