If you've been whitewater rafting and kayaking outside Arkansas you might find the rivers here a bit more manageable, so don't forget that many of the rivers here are not very demanding. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Searcy, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon
