The natural beauty of Faulkner County and the playfulness of the water will make you feel great. The put-in location is a reasonable drive from Searcy, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arkansas are often easier than in other states, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. There aren’t
    any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. For all you camping people there are campgrounds nearby. This river system is full of great paddling sections, the Highway 36 to White
Oak Bridge section is just one of them. This stretch has has enough mileage, suitable for an afternoon trip. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, there are lots of good rivers for that around here. A bit of exercise and just hanging out with mother nature are great attractions for lots of people. The wild scenery of the Boston Mountains is great.
