Whitewater rafting and kayaking in Arkansas is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that a lot of the rivers here are suitable for beginners. The starting location is a reasonable drive from Fort Smith, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page.
