The natural beauty of Arkansas and the water flowing gracefully down Cossatot River have people coming here. When you're paddling down a Ouachita Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arkansas are often easier than in other states, so keep in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. Getting your paddling muscles activated     and just hanging out with mother nature have people coming from far and near. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but you'd better reserve in advance because these hotels fill up quick. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, around here you'll find a large number of good places. This is a somewhat short section so no need to bring snacks. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. There are plenty of other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well.
