The wonderful Arkansas scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Fall Creek make the trip here worthwhile. This stretch of Fall Creek in Arkansas is 12 miles long and is a class III section of whitewater according to American Whitewater. Getting your paddling muscles activated and a chance to spend some time outdoors are sure to keep you coming back for more. The Boston Mountains scenery is wonderful. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. The Strickler to Lee Creek section is the only paddling section along Fall Creek. Some people
prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way there are lots of good spots for that around here. If you're coming from Fayetteville-Springdale-Rogers it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out a copy of the road map further down the page so
you won’t get lost. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arkansas are often more forgiving than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. If you hurry you can run this section in a day but why not make it an overnighter, so go ahead and pack your sleeping bag. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination.

to be in the 90's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's generally in the 60's. High temperatures through the wintertime are normally in the 40's while the cold winter nights at Fall Creek are in the 20's.
