The Falling Water Falls to Richland Campground stretch of Falling Water Creek in Arkansas is 7 miles long and has been rated as a class II-IV section by American Whitewater. The wonderful Arkansas scenery and the water flowing gracefully down Falling Water Creek beats anything. This is the only paddling stretch along Falling Water Creek. No matter if you're whitewater
rafting or kayaking in this general area you'll find lots of paddling rivers. Getting a good workout and a chance to spend some time outdoors have people coming from far and near. If you're coming from Harrison it's not a long drive at all to the put-in location, please print out
a copy of the road map further down the page so you won’t get lost. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. If you're a camper you can camp at one of the great campgrounds nearby. This is a pretty decent length section, it's perfect for a one day trip. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus.

winter lows in the 20's overnight here at Falling Water Creek. Falling Water Creek commonly gets a good deal of rain; May is the wettest month with most rain while January is mostly the driest month. Now, you may believe that's a heap but there's even more entertaining things to do here in the Boston Mountains.
