You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, but if you don’t have reservations you might end up sleeping in your car. You might be into whitewater rafting or kayaking or both, doesn't matter, this is an area with plenty of spots for that.
There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp. On this section you do get some distance, good for a one day paddling trip. Getting your paddling muscles activated and just being out on the river for a while will have you coming back for more. The natural beauty
of Arkansas and the playfulness of the water have people coming here. The beautiful Boston Mountains scenery is an added bonus. Hart Creek doesn't have a lot of paddling sections, the to Highway 220 section is the only one. Whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state is often easier than elsewhere, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that many of the sections here are safe for beginners.
Briefly about the general area: Whiskey Spring is an inspiring site to pop by while here, and don't leave Hart Creek without first going for a hike
