You can pitch a tent or park your RV at a nearby campground. There aren’t any hotels right nearby but if you're willing to drive a short distance then no problem and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. A good workout and just being out on the river for a while will make you glad you came. Now this is a pretty long section, perfect for a real wilderness adventure. The Highway 74 to Missouri 86 section of Kings River is 67     miles long and it is classified as a class I-II section by American Whitewater. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arkansas are often more forgiving than in other states, so if you're visiting here do keep in mind that quite a few of the sections here are pretty easy. This is one of a small number of paddling sections in this river system, there are a few others too. The river winds through the Ozarks and you get great scenery. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking around here you'll find a large number of good spots. Briefly about the general area: Summertime highs at Kings River usually tend to be in the 80's while night lows are regularly in the 60's. The winter brings highs down to the 40's with temperatures at Kings River dipping down into the 10's through winter nights. Waterfall Hollow is   a splendid spot to spend some time at. All the water falling down from the sky makes Kings River a wet site; June is the month that gets the most rain while January is ordinarily the driest month.
