The nature scenery of Arkansas and the playfulness of the water are reasons enough to come here and paddle. The Devils Den State Park to Highway 220 section of Lee Creek in Arkansas is 8.4 miles long and is according to American Whitewater a class II-III section of whitewater. The sections for whitewater rafting and kayaking here in Arkansas are often more forgiving than in other states, so keep
in mind that a large number of rivers in this state are quite easy. You might have to settle for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. There are a few other sections in this river system that can
be paddled as well. Since you're on this site you are probably into whitewater rafting or kayaking, either way there are lots of good rivers for that around here. When you're paddling down a Boston Mountains river like this one you always get great scenery along the way too. There are campgrounds quite near the river where you can camp.
