The scenic beauty of Arkansas and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water beats anything. Some people prefer whitewater rafting and some kayaking, either way around here you'll find a large number of good spots. The rivers for whitewater rafting and kayaking in this state are often easier than in other states, so better not forget that many of the sections here are safe for beginners. You might have to settle     for a hotel a bit away from the river if you want to stay the night, and if you make reservations in advance you're all set. This river system has a few good paddling stretches and the Highway 84 Bridge to US Highway 70 Bridge section is one of them. This stretch has enough mileage for an overnight trip, so pack your camp stove. Getting a good workout and spending some quality time in nature are great attractions for lots of people. The beauty of the Ouachita Mountains is a great plus for this river. And of course, there are campgrounds nearby.
