The Mt Levi to Hagarville stretch of Little Piney Creek in Arkansas is 12 miles long and has been determined by American Whitewater to be a class II section. Whitewater rafting and kayaking spots in Arkansas are easier than the national norm, so better not forget that lots of rivers here are good for beginners. The river winds through the Boston Mountains and you get great scenery. Whether you're whitewater rafting or kayaking this area has a large number of paddling spots. There's camping available near Little Piney Creek. Great exercise and just hanging
out with mother nature will make you glad you came. The beautiful scenery of Arkansas and the sparkling of the sunlight on the water have people coming here. If you have the time you can make this a two day trip, so why not pack your sleeping bag too. If you're coming from Russellville
it's not a long drive at all to the starting location, if you're not familiar with the area there's a road map further down the page. The nearby hotels are a bit away from the river, but do book a room before you come because it is a very popular destination. There are a few other stretches in this river system that can be paddled as well.
